    overwrite option

I've just finished grabbing .wav files of all my cd's (5650 tracks). I then converted them to ape files which took about 30 hours.

Now I'm converting them to mp3 (the wav's have been deleted).

However, I've been unlucky with powercuts (as usual for where I live).

When you go and convert everything, it detects that you've got lots of mp3 files already and asks for each one if you want to overwrite it (the default beng yes).

Any chance of having an global option that says 'dont overwrite'?

I basically wanted to resume from where I left off?

The way I'm having to do it currently, it to get it to delete the ape files as it goes, and once it finally finishes (in about 5-6 days barring no more power cuts) I can then recover the ape files from my backup.

btw, the mp3s are for my 2 portable devices, the ape's for local use.

Spoon, thanks for the quick repsonse.

I noticed this morning (been running for about 25 hours now) that its estimate is now '0 seconds remaining'. It's done 1069 of 5650 and is 18% into it.

When it started it had the remaining time as 133 hours, and earlier this morning said it was about 34 hours, but now it's 0.

As I can work it out from the %age it's not really an issue (and I know it's going to take between 5-6 days), just thought I'd mention it.

Oh and hopefully, I'll never have to convert over 5000 files at once again ;-)
