    ProfileName Tag

I don't know if this exists in the reference version already (I don't have it to check), but it would be useful to have a tag to refer to the ripping profile used.

e.g. say I had windows media lossless
I might name that profile "WMAL"
and it would good to have that as a [profilename] field, so as to use it for folder names etc. ([encoding+] is frequently too long to use as part of the pathname).

dMC r12 supports ripping profiles and you can name them whatever you want.

Thanks, do you know if it has a tag that you can use to reference the profile name (for file or folder naming)?

You do not need a tag, just type the string needed ie:

        \[artist]\your string\[artist] - [title]

That's a constant. The point is that I wanted a variable that changes according to the name of the custom ripping profile used. (or do you mean that each ripping profile has its own separate default tags setting? I don't have the "reference" version to check.)

Each profile has its own file naming setting.

Okay, thanks. I'll give it a try.
