    Rip a CD by Time

I would love it if in addition to the CD Ripping feature you could also rip by time. I kind of have in mind the ability to create a batch list from a CD i.e.- 12:32-13:00 track 1, 14:31-20:00 track 2, etc.
You can do this video editing software when you capture a video tape for instance.
I have not found any software that does this on the internet, so you would be breaking into new ground. It is useful for broadcasting specifically.
Is there any possibility for a feature like this for the future?

Thanks, I love the software and am a registered user!

Re: Rip a CD by Time

There is a "Grabber" DSP effect, found in the beta forum, that will grab portions of files. However, the time has to be specified per conversion, I believe. You should be able to script this, though. Note that in order to script dMC, you must be using dBpoweramp Reference, not just the PowerPack.

More information on scripting can be found in the Developer section of this forum and, specifically, this thread: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=12592
