Cue sheets and CD index

When you decide to implement cue sheets, it would be nice to include support for the standard CD indexing feature. It seems that recent CDs use indexing very rarely, but I've come across quite a few old classical CDs which use indexing to separate movements in an opera, or tempo changes in a single movement.
