It is difficult to say, at the moment we are simply 'filling the gaps' with stuff that is incompatible with R12.

np, it would just be nice to have access to a good tagging tool for all the discs I ripped before R12.

I use and am very happy with Tag&Rename. I would really like to see a partnership of some sort between the two to let me use AMG and the license fee I paid as part of R12 to use the AMG data inside of Tag&Rename.

IMHO, Tag&Rename os the absolute best tag editor.

The AMG license fee seems to be very reasonable ($5). Try getting tag&rename to offer the service. It would be nice to see some partnerships among the smaller audio companies, but I doubt it will happen just to use the AMG license.

Specifically, it would be nice to see Spoon's and Andre's efforts consolidated to continue to perfect CD ripping for incorporation into a larger music management tool. MediaMonkey and Helium Music Manager, both have good music library tools, and if they came together could have something very special, especially with a perfect ripper integrated. Together, they may all actually be able to compete a bit more with the big boys, after all, they tend to have better products anyway.
