-Option for second pass burst mode. It seems that often if there are errors, re-ripping often gets an accuraterip the first time around while secure ripping may toil for a very long time and maybe get an accuraterip

-Option to re-calculate AR CRC after each sector is ripped in ultra-secure. This may allow for much faster ripping as it may not be required to re-rip other sectors.

is there plans to add more features to the R12 series, or will all major feature be R13?

I think only minor features will be added, major updates will be r13

Music converter request:

-option to add picture from folder.jpg to transcoded file metadata
-option to resize album art when adding to metadata, there are freeware opensource apps that should be able to be used as a plug-in to do this.

Hmm, doesnt seem to work for m4a files. I know with iTunes AAC and an mp4 container (should be the same thing right) you can store a picture. Can you with the m4a? I havent tried with other codecs ATM.

The current m4a codec does not support album art, as stated on the download page.

Any ETA or news on R13. Last I heard sometime around July-ish for some alphas. Keeping my fingers crossed. HTOA and CUEs are needed before dB's wonderfull ripper can fully replace EAC for audio enthusiasts.

Have not started it yet, will get r12.3 out of the way first, plus currently main effort is going on the next version of cd writer.

Hopefully the advances in EAC will push up the timetables a bit ;-) Granted EAC badly needs an overhaul it will never get, but without a few key features dBpoweramp is not a complete and suitable replacement. I assume nothing really new is planned for R12.3?

With a bit of luck R12.3 will beta with all mods this week, there is only 1 bug fix and 10 enhancements...

Glad to see it in beta. Hopefully that means R13 is the next stop on the roadmap...
