    Improving secure ripping

I would love to see a new feature that would speed up secure ripping. It would require an enhancement to AccurateRip. The basic idea is to store in the AccurateRip database a CRC for every 10 second part of a track. Now each 10 seconds can be verified when it is ripped - eliminating the need to re-read the disc, except when a mismatch is found.

    Re: Improving secure ripping

I have already made a similar request and spoon doesnt like the idea. I think a better solution is par2 sharing as it would allow fixing of rips that may have unrecoverable errors.
