PowerPack option: Detect Gap+Create Cue Sheet
The feature I would like to see, is a possibility to detect/record the gaps to a CUE file when ripping.
I've been experimenting to get this working, and I got it working, but it's not very quick and easy, as I have to use another program and a text editor and manual labor to get it working:
Today I have to rip CD to (in my case to OGG) in dbPowerAMP CD Input.
Then I have to start the program EAC (Exact Audio Copy) and select Detect Gaps. And after making sure settings is right, I have to select to create CUE sheet from multiple WAV files with Gaps.
And then I have to edit the CUE file to search/replace ".wav" with ".ogg" and then move the CUE file itself to the correct PATH.
And finally I'm able to burn the CD in Burrrn.
This is a lot of work just to get the same gaps when burning compressed audio files back to CD. It would be very nice if dbPowerAMP could generate the CUE file automagically and place it in a separate CUE folder, maybe ... Worth considering? :smile2:
