FINGER PRINTING (id3)

Hi - SPOON - and all members of this forum

In my first and previous post What About Album Art???

I got the replies I needed about album art as it is my major favourite of audio tagging, I also read that you would imply fingerprinting feature soon and I know that you guys/programmer are working towards your next release of dbPoweramP which I should surely buy.

About 'Finger Printing' again, is it too late to implement it to the release of r12?

ps. forgive me if this question is in the wrong section

The fingerprinting will be in r12. It will be AMGs fingerprint, used to get metadata, including album art from the AMG DB.

R12 will be released before finger-printing, we have a deadline for R12.

spoon, I thought r12 was going to include fingerprinting to get the metadata for ripped tracks from AMG? Is this not the case?

Or are you just refering to the fact that it wont be immediatly available for the rest of the library that isnt ripped with r12?

He's saying fingerprinting will be available as a separate download after dMC r12 comes out. So dMC r12 initially won't include it, but it will be available later.

We are still using AMG as a replacement for freedb, 2 weeks and that will go active.
