    Winamp encoder plugin

how about an encoding plugin which can use any of winamp's encoders?

using cli frontends for enc_aacplus.dll works, but it ain't pretty :( (not to mention there are other... 'usefull' ... winamp encoders

so how about a plugin that can use the config gui that is built into the winamp encoders?

select the encoder from a dropdown window, click a 'configure' button, and pop up the config window

of course you cant bundle the encoders with it, but there aren't anything extra bundled with the directshow decoder and the generic cli plugin either.. i think most people can handle a little copy and paste operation

    Re: Winamp encoder plugin

But....Why use Winamp when you have ready access to dMC? It's only a few mouse clicks away.... But I suppose you'd like the GUI..

And Winamp has an encloser for aacPlus, which some people do want.

        Re: Winamp encoder plugin

yea sure.. aacplus is the only one worth anything... but it would be nice to have a dropdown menu with them all just for the heck of it.... like how it's selected in winamp and nsvtools

winamp has an open encoder sdk... and spoon is a genious.. im sure he could whip something together :komisch9:
