Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

They are case sensitive. The command prompt cannot be shown. Your command line would not work if something had a space in it (the filenames will not as short names are used), ie:

c:\temp.wav c:\a.mp3 an artist an album a title...

You need quotes around the items?

Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

thanks spoon. Yes, the problem was when MAREO logged to thescreen (witch is a simple delphi call to write("text").

I had to modify MAREO, so i can tell it not to log to screen.

why should i pay attention to write [album], instead of [Album]?

as i said, i fixed the problem, but i rather see the command prompt running, that not knowing what is happening.

      Right, good point.

For anyone interested, here is how to setup MAREO with dbpoweramp beta: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/...dpost&p=431475

Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

once dbpamp estarts ripping, there is no way to cancel! I have to press ALT-F4, to do it. Also, it looks like dbpamp is not "listening" to the errorlevel of the encoder.

Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

If your using "Rip to RAM", then the rip is not canceled until the current track is finished ripping.

Also, what do you mean "error level of the encoder"?

Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

what is rip to RAM? That my encoder was returning an errolevel of 1 (0 is all ok, more than 0 is error), and it ignores, and continues to rip.

Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

Rip to RAM is a PowerPack option in Audio CD Input. However, I can't seem to find if this option is in the beta right now.

Also, another reason its pausing could be that it is trying to securely rip the track and doesn't stop until it succeeds.

Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

Rip to Ram is default in the new ripper, ah progress...

Currently to cancel a rip click the rip button (again) and OK to the cancel message.

Looking at your screen shot you do not have Pass Wave Header checked (for the CLI Encoder), how does the encoder know what the frequency, channels etc is?

Re: Discussion of dMC R12 Alpha

MAREO just calls multiple encoders, for example, i have it setup to call, FLAC first, to generate song.flac, then wavegain to gain the original wav, and then, it calls LAME to create song.mp3, from the wavegained original.

Spoon, could you add a reporting of data from the new CD ripper to start building a db of average wav size and average number of errors in songs with errors? In reference to: This

                                Preview of audio tracks

                                As well as:

                                FLAC encoder
Album Art supportted in most codecs

                                -------
C2 enhancements include a best result from c2 if cannot match 10 frames, also it is recommended that if a drive supports c2 then the maximum re-reads should be set to around 700 (you will see impressive results with this).
