Midi is not a format that can be readily converted since it is a set of directions for playing music on a synthesized device. Midi data is more like sheet music than like actual audio data stored in ordinary digital audio formats.
To convert midi files to wave, please see this item in the FAQ:

HOW TO CONVERT A MIDI FILE TO A .WAV FILE
Configure dMC to convert MIDI to WAVE:
1. Open dMC Auxiliary Input.
2. Click "Options".
This opens the "dMC - Options" window.
3. Under "Input Source", click the "Select" button.
If you wish to convert from midi to mp3 or other format, you can either convert first to wave and then to your desired format or record directly to your desired format.
If you wish to convert files to Midi format, dBpowerAMP Music Converter cannot do this and I am unsure whether there are any ways of doing this which would result in decent sound quality. Perhaps some other users might be able to provide some recommendations if this is what you want to accomplish.
