Re: dmc r11.1 rc1 cannnot convert this file

The mp3 is 0 seconds long?

        What created this file?

The copyrighted bit is also of some concern I think.

If it says the length is 0 seconds, it is not reading the file correctly. Can you play this file in any player software?

of course, it could be played from any player. there is 27 frames in the mp3

it is a "ring" sound ... coz, less than one second. so... be shown as 0 second (IMHO)...

(So sorry for my broken english...)
Actually i had ever sent sth like this , in the following thread

Bug of Unicode ID3v2 in dMC r11 beta2
Bug of Unicode ID3v2 in dMC r11 beta2 Program: dMC r11 beta2 OS: win2000 sp4 I found that dMC r11 beta2 didn't wrote the (Unicode) ID3v2 correctly. It wrote the characters that should be Unicode with Unicode Big Endian. ERROR of dMC r11 beta2 -- Unicode Big Endian was written for example: ANSI : 54 65 73 74 69 6E

I don't know whom you sent it to, it wasn't me, maybe Spoon. I am not set up to accept email from the forum.

I have serious doubts that dMC can handle a files les than 1 second long. I seem to recall problems with files that are 3-4 seconds long in fact, where a couple of seconds would be truncated from the overall length.

Could it be that you had a longer file and editted it using some program to shorten it to under 1 seconds?

Incidentally what gave you the specs of that mp3 file? That doesn't look like what GetPupUpInfo shows. Normally it would also say what mp3 encoder did it.
