Problem with mp3 to wav in release 11

I upgraded to release 11 from 10.1. When converting from a large mp3 file (80-100mb or so like a 10 song album) to an uncompressed wav it gives me the first "track" only. No error happens, just a single song. This happened with all 3 of my computers and after uninstalling and reinstalling the old version, everthing works fine. I also tried Beta 11.2 with the same result. Should I uninstall 10.1 before upgrading to 11? I'm registered and using XP Home.

Not such a big deal to me, as I can live with release 10. Just thought I would mention this.

PS Still looking for raw pcm support. Thanks

It sounds like your file may be approaching the file-size limit that dMC has. Can you break the song up into multiple files and try to convert again? One utility to do this with is Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Wait a moment, this sounds like a different kind of beast. It's not just an mp3 file, it's somethting that "knows" there are several tracks in the file. It's collection of mp3 files strung out together I think.

You need to first separate it into individual files.

Is that actuallly an mp3 file or another format based on that with multiple entries?

Good point, Christina. What is the extension of this file? Note that I don't mean what windows describes it as, but its extension. If you cannot see extensions, go to Folder Options, click View, uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" and click Apply. Now see what the extension of this file is.

Also, where did this file come from? What program created it?
Edit: See if this program will open it: http://www.unrelatedinventions.com/Audiotools/

These are .mp3 files created by a program called AlbumWrap (I don't have this program but the file names from downloading have "ALBW" in them). I tried the exact same files (about a dozen) with 10.1 and 11 & 11.1beta2 and Release 10.1 does not have this problem. What's the difference with the release 11 & 11.1 that's doing this? And is there a possible fix? Until then I will continue to use 10.1.
