dMC Audio CD Input - Slow and wrong display

dMC audio CD runs too slow. How can I speed up the ripping and converting of tracks? I am converting from .cda to .aac files. I have a P4 2.4GHz processor with dual, matched 512 MB ram and fast HD.

    2nd problem:
when the program reads in the album information and I click on the freedb button, the information is read correctly but the Year only displays 3 digits of the year.

Do you have the Power pack? Click on the rocket in dMC Audio CD Input and make sure you have rip to ram enabled.

Also, during conversion, if you set priority of conversion to normal or below normal it will actually work faster.

I don't know about the year, but is it possible that the error is in the database? I don't have any cd handy with a year appearing in the freedb database. But I can set it myself manually from the drop-down list and it will be shown in the file name if I select it in the naming convention.

I just did a test with that (setting the year myself at the top) and defining it in the naming convention. The track got created correctly, with the year being shown, all 4 digits.

Most of the time will be on compressing to aac not ripping from cd, only a faster processor can speed that up.

For one cd the year is wrong, or all?

The Feedbd data base shows it as 1965 which is correct. The program displays the year as "196".

It is correct when i edit the ic3 tag. The program appears to display only the first 3 digits of the year in the list box. The documentation shows that all 4 digits should be displayed.

For any one CD there are maybe 5 different entries in freedb, just means someone has filled in that CD wrong (unless it does it for every CD you insert).

For DMC CD input, the year displays only 3 digits for any CD that I insert into my drive that I want to rip.

As a side note, when I click on the list button, the years that I can select displays as 4 digits.

I have checked all of my previous ripped CDs and the year is correctly displayed.

I am running the latest beta version for DMC R 11.1.
