When I input Double Byte Character Set(like japanese) in ID3v2 with unicode,
correctly inputed in tag
I can read unicode tag in other programs....
but broken in dbpoweramp's popup info.

dMC R11 is not fully unicode compatible (only transferring unicode to unicode).

Changes singe 11.1 rc1 - help updated, mp3 decoding small files bug fix, bug fix where rip to ram was 100% cpu (say ripping to test conversion). Eta 1-2 months until full release.

dbPowerAmp 11.5 doesn't read the bitrate of most of the mp3 variable bitrate , encoded with Fraunhofer (with Adobe Audition 1.5). It simple shows "0 bitrate". In Lame or Xing encoded mp3s, this doesn't happend, but on FhG 90% of the variable bitrate encoded music files are shown as 0 bitrate Kbps. :blush:

Yes, you can install the beta over your current version. No, this will not make you lose your registered status.

Edit: note that you must tell it to NOT uninstall the older version.

I DID uninstall the previous version, but my registration still seems to work.
Is there something I missed?

I believe it's just a safety precaution not to uinstall the previous version. Maybe it's just a reg entry that stayed there? :confused:

Updated to rc2, bug fix for bitrates on FHG vbr files (thanks twister).

Unfortunattely, the bug is still there :(
Now, Fraunhofer VBR is OK, but Fraunhofer 128Kbps CBR (Adobe Audition) is identified like... Lame :confused: Strange, but this seems to happen only when Write CRC Checksums is checked (in fact CRC chksm is a feature that help identify errors when decoding) :yawn:
File information reader from dbPowerAmp v11.1 it was really good, I think it will be better if will be integrated in 11.5 rc3
