    DMC RC1 questions

when using the the EQ loop there is no way to pre listen to the EQ changes before ripping? using dmc cd audio input i thought this would have been possible.

also no docs on the new DSP effects?

i did a test convert using the default Loop setting. nothing seemed different? although i am not sure what i was expecting either.

    Re: DMC RC1 questions

I ripped the beatles abbey road using lame mp3extreme ,and dsp eq random setting . It seemed to work quite well. The eq is clearly high quality. The ability to prelisten is an important function to have. Also more detail is needed in the eq like +5/-5 and not all eq frequencies are listed. I know this is rc1 and Spoon is probably aware of these issues. I am excited about this release and can hardly waite for the final.

The EQ should be the same one as in dAP, exactly. Use dAP to prelisten?

yes i could pre listen by using dap. it's just that dmc audio cd input has the pre listen/play function built in to it. so i thought that ability would be in keeping when choosing the EQ DSP effect from withinn DMC audio cd input.

it's not a problem but more of a suggestion to keep things streamlined. that was all.

i think i worked out the loop DSP also.

Hi, I forgot to log in on my earlier post#2. Razgo I understand your point, and if I may add that not all DMC Powerpack users use daP for playback.
