For some reason, when use DMC to generate a CBR file, the LAME info tag isn't written at the beginning. On VBR files it works fine.
The info tag is necessary even on CBR files because encoders can use it to make gapless playback. When I use lame 3.96.1 from the command line, it writes it by default on CBR and VBR files. Are you specifically disabling for some reason in DMC, or is it some sort of bug?
