dCW r2 beta 1 bug?

I have noticed that when dCW is converting a number of files from one format to another that with the very last conversion the program seems to cause a fatal exception and to terminate. There does not seem to be any problem with the converted file, but having to restart the program is inconvenient. I will follow up to send you the exact error message when I next encounter it.

The error message is:
"CDWriter.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

The "error signature" is as follows:
AppName: cdwriter.exe AppVer: 4.0.2.0 ModName: cdwriter.exe
ModVer: 4.0.2.0 Offset: 0000c88a7

Perhaps this helps. Please let me know if you need the full error report details. I am running Windows XP sp1 system on a 1.8 ghz Celeron processor.

As it crashes, does it add to the list the last file converted? (ie does it show the last file below the crash message)?

There is no mention of the last file converted in the error message. After clicking to acknowledge the error dCW turns itself off. When I restart dCW it shows that the last file was appropriately converted.

What types of files are you converting and what type of CD are you creating?

I'm creating an mp3 disc (700 mb). I'm converting Ogg and Musepack file to mp3. When this occurred it was while creating a disc that had separate artist files. I'm not sure if the file formatting is a factor or not. This does not seem to occur if I am creating the same cd without separate folders for each artist. If I can confirm this I will let you know.

You are creating a mp3 disk using a:

[artist]\[artist]-[track]

arrangement?
