It would do if you have ever installed any previous version of dBpoweramp.Leave a comment:

Either uninstall the trial and reinstall R17 from registration retrieval, or upgrade to R2022 from R17Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp for Mac, R17.8 beta
It appears the beta trial ended for the 17.3, which as we spoke about before was the version that didn't give any issues. I tried updating to the latest beta and it says Expired. Any way to test out 17.3 again or finally try something higher?Leave a comment:

You would need to try the latest R2022 version, this was a test branch.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp for Mac, R17.8 beta
dBpoweramp R17.8 beta 9 (running direct from install package)
CD Ripper silently crashes upon inserting CD and closing drive tray.
I collected the requested Log and Crash Dump files, but having a devil of a time using the Attachment feature of this forum software!?!
Am I posting this in the wrong thread?

Re: dBpoweramp for Mac, R17.8 beta
Were you successful in reproducing this issue? If so, did the fix make it into the R17.8 branch? Thanks for the bug report.
I'd like you to follow these steps:- Run beta 9 - https://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/DMC-R178b9.dmg - no need to install, just run from the DMG directly
- Recreate the stuck disk lookup issue
- If dBpoweramp crashed, follow https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthr...eramp-Mac-apps
- If dBpoweramp didn't crash but failed to detect your disc - close dBpoweramp, open Finder, go (cmd+shift+G) to ~/Library/dBpoweramp, post contents of AppLog.txt from there.
We've been investigating similar bug reports but have been unable to recreate them on our Macs, hopefully new input will let us fix this.
I have experienced "CD Ripper exists with fatal exception" and "No encoder found" and "No CD drive found" issues using beta 8 and can help provide logs using beta 9, if still needed.
Otherwise, I would like to start using the "fixed" version.

Re: dBpoweramp for Mac, R17.8 beta
Thank you for your answer.
Then I will now trigger the order.... dbpoweramp is still supported.... for at least 12 years my software... first on the PC then on the Mac.

Re: dBpoweramp for Mac, R17.8 beta
Development stopped on R17.x back in January of this year as R2022-xx-xx was prepared for the change of licensing. We included a .8 test release to better understand why for some CD Ripper was freezing (it seems it was 3rd party security software in the most part).Leave a comment:
