      Minus freedb, all of them.

Free image hosting and sharing service, upload pictures, photo host. Offers integration solutions for uploading images to forums.

This only happens on new rips.

Hey, Spoon, I found this thread (https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?44334) where a MusicBrainz metadata issue is fixed in R17, but I saw in the changelog that XP is no longer supported. My Elite Micro changer setup is XP and I'm loathe to change it because it just works. Totally understand dropping support for XP. Just wondering: Will it install on XP, but not supported if I have issues OR is install blocked if installer detects XP?

It will not work from a compiler point of view, we use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 now, it uses API calls only present in Visa or newer. The program will not run on XP.

Crap. OK, is there any workaround to newly-submitted DiscID's not being properly queried by batchripper after a week? Could I delete some local cache or wait longer? I can snap an image of my XP system and upgrade to Vista, but that'll be more complicated.

We would have to release an updated batch ripper as it does the metadata reading, this would also be Vista only.

Is the metadata fix present only in R17 beta of CD Ripper and isn't present in R17 Beta of Batch Ripper? Or maybe I'm confused. I thought R17 Beta includes the whole bundle of products and would include the metadata fix across Ripper and Batch Ripper.

Batch Ripper is a separate download to R17 and dBpoweramp.

R17 Beta 7 does not install. It shows a message about restarting computer as it has pending installs, I've done that, I've also completely uninstalled & reinstalled R16.6 & tried R17b7 again & get the same message.

click the windows start button and type:

                      regedit

                      run it and browse to:

                      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager

Have a look at PendingFileRenameOperations this should be empty after a full shutdown and restart

OK I see it ... PendingFileRenameOperations has a McAfee file in it
I will get working on that & come back

                        Thanks

Sorry for delay, all OK, sorted, McAfee file removed, R17.b7 installed

                          Thanks again

How do you make submissions to freedb in beta 7? I can't find that option anymore.

freedb.org is being discontinued, R17 uses our own freedb server but it has no submission ability.

                                Hey!

Just updated to V7, was using V1 earlier. Nice work... great improvements and changes!

One thing I've noticed now that I'm using V7 is that my drive speed for the CD ripper is quite a bit slower, ranging from 1.5x to 4x. Is that a coincidence, or has a new feature been added that might affect the speed?

Thanks for any advice or feedback!
