Re: dBpoweramp Video Converter Discussions
A welcome addition. I haven't really needed to use it yet, but one thing I did notice was that when you start the converter it displays a file open dialog with this title:
dBpoweramp Video Converter: Select Audio File(s)
I just found that a bit amusing. :-)

Re: dBpoweramp Video Converter Discussions
A nice surprise, but very limited at present? All my source files are mkv, some of which have multiple audio/subtitle tracks. I need to know when converting (e.g. for mobile use) which track is going to be picked, whether it's passthrough audio with video conversion etc, I can't see anything in the interface that enables me to pick up core source data in that regard and how it will map to the output before commencing the conversion, or how to run a test before committing to conversion of the whole file. Appreciate this is beta, but at present it's a long way from established utilities in this space, though if it could mature to compete I'd be sure to take another look.Comment

If you click the download option on the encoder page it will open an Internet Explorer window with the download, save and run the install.Comment

Re: dBpoweramp Video Converter Discussions
Talk about a timely addition! I'm suddenly faced with trying to put together an EPK with multiple sources. I started looking online for video converters and what a nightmare of malware and adware. Norton wouldn't even let me install some thankfully. Which led me to the thought, "Who can I trust..." Thank you.Comment
