Re: OK....Where is the download link???
Maybe a good opportunity for someone who actually knows to try to clear this out...
My impression was that the betas (like R10 beta 5 or so up to 9 I think) were prior to the actual release version 10.0. A hint perhaps for a more clear presentation??? :(Comment

Re: OK....Where is the download link???
I think you are right, BestRip.. betas are for testing before release... and Spoon says the release is teh latest one in the "newest beta" thread
the ver 10 beta 9 should be from September 2003 if I'm not mistaken...Comment

Re: OK....Where is the download link???
Anything (Beta) is older than any install from the main www.dbpoweramp.com, so Release 10, is newer than Release 10 (Beta 9), and 10.1 is newer stillComment

Re: OK....Where is the download link???
Ah my foolish mistake. Sorry for wasting time and space folks. I'm new to this game guess you noticed!!! Thanks for clearing this up but leads me to the question why are old beta's still knocking around on this site that are for testing, when newer official versions such as 10.1 exist, surely with its beta's predecessors (such as 10 beta 5 or 9) faults ironed out?Comment

Re: OK....Where is the download link???
i think most developers leave access to beta's so people still have choice. and i think it leaves a history trail. sometimes a certain release works better than others on their system for whatever reason also. and it's good to be able to roll back if you want to.
although i always use the latest with the acception of a monkey's audio codec i had to roll back to an eearlier release for it to work on my system.Comment
