Re: DSP Effects R12 Discussion
The documentation for R11 says -23 LUFS. Now for R12 it says -18 LUFS.
Since I have over 12,000 tracks normalized with R11, I am guessing this means they are at at -23 LUFS, so I need to continue using -23 LUFS.
I guess my question is, how do I do that. The help files says to use the slider on the right. However, the slider shows -0 right now, and it shows the measurement as db, not LUFS. Do I need to make the slider show -5 db to get from -18 LUFS to -23 LUFS or do I set the volume slider to -23, and is LUFS the same as db? -
Re: DSP Effects R12 Discussion
You would set the text box under the slider to -5 dBComment

I am actually thinking of moving the DSPs into dBpoweramp, so its releases would be on dBpoweamp updates.Comment

Re: DSP Effects R12 Discussion
I think I've found a little bug on the beta.
When I'm converting FLAC files (to aac) with multiple artist tags, there are all concatenated with a / as separator and added in a single artist tag. But I didn't use the ID Tag Processing DSP...
Same problème with Genre and Album Artist tags.
With R11, this problem never occurs.Last edited by Dooby; November 23, 2015, 12:23 AM.Comment

Re: DSP Effects R12 Discussion
Yes. I'm converting FLAC files to M4A files.
List of DSP used:
- Bit Depth: mini 8 bits / maxi 16 bits
- Channel count : mini 1(mono) / maxi 2(stereo)
- Resample (beta version): mini 44khz / maxi 48khz
- Delete Destination File on Error
I'm using R15.3 version of dBpoweramp.Last edited by Dooby; November 23, 2015, 10:53 AM.Comment

Re: DSP Effects R12 Discussion
There exists no standard for multiple artists etc in Apple iTunes tags, for the last 10 years '/' has been used, this will change to separate tag values in R16, which is quite a while off.Comment

Re: DSP Effects R12 Discussion
As a test uninstall R12 and reinstall R11 from the main site please, I am sure it will not change the result.Comment
