    Hi,

great idea of "harmonizing" the contents of ID tags. Installed beta today over existing latest registered version, but program seems to have a problem, since it stops always at the same stage (I tried it 5 times) - see the following hardcopyClick image for larger version

Name:	A.R. 2 Beta - ID-Tagger.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	43.1 KB
ID:	292810, which - although partly in German - should be self-explanatory:

Please indicate if I could supply more details to help you isolate the problem.

    Regards,
    Niko

        Re: PerfectTUNES R2 discussion

        Hi,
I use the new version to test the IDTagger which worked for quite some time now. Whenever I see an inconsistency I use MusicBee to correct the error (as this is my preferred Tag Editor). After changing a few dozen inconsistencies in MusicBee the IDTagger will crash. It reads all my FLAC files start with Processing and then Windows error message will show up that IDTagger does not work anymore.

Is there a debug mode available for PerfectTunes so that I can check which tags create that problem?

        Thanks

Forgot to mention that the amount of files did not change. I added two CD on Friday and it worked fine. Then I saw some inconsistencies with PerfectTunes, corrected them with MusicBee and next time PerfectTunes IDTagger threw this error...

Which program does it say has crashed? the ID Tag.exe or Scanner.exe?

The Scanner seems to work well, then ID Tag will be started and crashes after few seconds (see attached screen shot).

Open Windows File Explorer and type:

                    %appdata%

then zipup the PerfectTUNES folder. Upload to dropbox please and provide a link to it by personal message on this forum.

Not currently, we will see how well dBpoweramp does on the MAC.

                          Hi there,

is a newly compiled version (i.e. without breakpoint, where the program ends / crashes) meanwhile available for download ?
Tried actual download today, but program (I think ID-tag.exe) still crashed.

Progress bar in my case proceeds until the "I" of "ID-Tag" in the picture attached to post *9. Since I do have actually about 14.000 tracks, the reason might be similar as with "Mat_Illustrate" (for about 50.000 tracks "his" progress bar stops at less than 30 % of mine).

If needed, my data uploaded to drop box are still available there. Or should I update them with the actual directory contents of %appdata% ?

                          Regards,
                          Niko

Until the next update, you can install:

unzip and replace existing IDTag.exe in your

                            C:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\PerfectTUNES\

                            folder.

Thank you, that helps to overcome the actual dead point - curious about what would be the results of existing tag contents.
