Only White Noise

Whatever I try to convert to flac - .wav or from cd - there is only white noise...

Using a registered 15.1 release

Rip a CD to wave, no dsp effects then play the wave file in Windows media player. Does it have noise?

rip to .wav: No white noise, sounds good...
Tried to rip to flac - normal sound...
but why? and why now? and how long? is there any explanation?

Now convert the wave which plays well, to flac, does it play ok?

It could be the player which is at fault, there were versions of VLC which could not play flac, make sure you are on the latest software.
