Ripper
I just did some testing of CD ripper. Did not find any problems. Just noticed a few things.
1) Once the program is closed there does not seem to be a way to eject a CD from a CD drive. You have to start the program again and eject from within the program.
2) It maybe best to make the default ripping method "Secure"
3) Is there going to be functionality to limit the tags that are saved in the audio files? For example I only want the tags that iTunes can read to be saved.
Overall I would say it looks very good.

Re: dBpoweramp Music Converter OS X Discussions
Downloaded and installed no problem. The music converter now does indeed recognize my .FLAC files. I did a test convert of one album (7 songs), and upon hitting Convert, the program is frozen/stuck with a "One moment please" error. I am using 10.9.4.Leave a comment:

Just tried R1 and ran cd ripper. It says my drive isn't in accuraterip but it is. My drive I'm using is Optiarc - DVD RW AD-7280S. Haven't did anymore tests, will report back when I do.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp Music Converter OS X Discussions
Spoon,
I have a similar, related problem but when attempting to do the opposite. My objective is to convert ALAC files to FLACs. Basically nothing happens and I get the following error message...
Error converting to FLAC, '/Volumes/FW800-1/iTunes Music/AC_DC/Black Ice/01 Rock 'N Roll Train.m4a' to '/tmp/no-output-file-specified.ignore'
Error: Unable to load encoder 'FLAC'. [dBCoreConverter]
I also noticed that FLAC was missing from the formats filters screen. I'm using OSX 10.9.3 Mavericks.
