Hi Steve, not sure if you are still looking or collecting info but I have been using JRiver Media Center 19 for a few months now and it hasn't let me down yet, I took advantage of the free trial first and paid for the iOS app which integrates seamlessly IMO. Hope that helps.

Batch Ripper will not make it to the MAC, the drivers for the robots are not available generally on OS X.

Isn't there some way you could use "drutil -list" and "drutil -drive n eject" to control a robot? Oh ... wait, you're talking about actual robotic loaders like those built into specialised CD printers.

Is there a limit to the number of songs that are able to be converted? The beta seems to be restarting after a certain amount of time. I was hoping to convert an entire fold I have and am unable to do so.

Can anyone tell me the possibilities?

No Limit, the restart is likely a crash. Are you able to isolate it to specific files?

I don't think so. Because when looking at things through the converter window the individual files are not showing.

What could be causing the crash? Any steps that I could that to possibly prevent it from crashing? I am using latest mini with i5.

Just an update, problem solved by shutting other activities down. Shut down music playing software, and other programs that would be affecting resources on the mini.

I have either 8 or 16 gb of memory, pretty sure it is the later. I was playing music files at times, but not the ones I was converting. I really don't know what caused it. I was just guessing. It did work when all was shut down other than DB. Thanks much for such a great, trust worthy software. I have been using it for years on windows.

I'm really looking forward to the final version release estimated around Christmas time :smile2:

In the meantime, I'm using the full PC version and so I'm not in a great hurry to download the current beta test version to my Mac. I appreciate that other Mac users may not be in the same fortunate position to use both systems (PC & Mac) and will be using the beta test version on their Macs.

Since I don't need a Mac version imminently (even tough I prefer to use the Mac rather than my PC), do you suggest that I simply wait for the final Mac version (which is fine) or shall I download the beta test version for later registration, once the final version becomes available?

Whilst I appreciate that this is entirely a matter for me to decide, I'm wanting a really 'clean' install on my 'precious' Mac and wondered whether it was 'safer' to wait for the official release - to avoid any left over parts of the test program clogging up the Mac.

I look forward to your recommendation because it may not make any difference to the final outcome, but thought it sensible to consult the expert first rather than rush into anything!
