CD Input is crashing on a rip with the following error:

Highly reproducible upon start of a cda to Lame rip (around 6% rip to RAM). Is there a way I can capture the module versions of dMC Audio CD Input I am currently running?

            Thanks,
            \iNDRA

Although Audio CD Input appears as separate module on the desktop (or in the program listing) it is actually a part of the dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) package and installs without needing a separate download. So your version would be whatever your version of dMC is. You can find this out by going to your Help folder for dMC and your general version number will be right at the top under the Illustrate logo. Also, you can go to the bottom of that page and click on the link for Version Changes.
The most recent version will be the one listed at the top. If you were running the current beta version (release 11 beta 2) this will not be listed here since the help folder has not yet been updated for the beta.

Some users have had success in going to Audio CD Configuration and changing the setting for "CD Communication" to "2000/NT Built-In (Limited)"

If this does not help you might let us know what operating system you are running, whether your crashes occur if you rip to wav (rather than mp3) and what type of compression settings you are trying to rip to.

              Best wishes,
              Bill Mikkelsen
