Lossless MP3

Hi I recently got an ev-64amx mp3 player which supposidly supports wma. I've then converted all my good mp3's and was astonished by how much space I saved but with the same quality. I later found out that the files wouldn't play on my mp3 player. The only other extensuions supposidly to work are aac and qdx. I'm hoping there is a way to have a lossless codec of one of these formats that will keep my low space down or should i just only be able to fit ~20 songs on my player?

You wont get a lossless codec on this player, I would say try AAC.
