Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Hi Spoon,
that sounds very interessting because I'm using a NAS from Synology (DS 213+ with a Freescale QorIQ P1022 CPU). Your porting of Asset UPnP for QNAP let me hope to get Asset UPnP for my NAS in the (near) future, too. Have you alredy plans for this purpose?
Bye. Purzel
btw. happy new year!
Good performance.
Had few issues with auto starting it a boot, but that works too now.
Only issues is that the Asset configuration files are at root in the file system.
I would prefer if I could select location.
I hope I have not violated anything by doing this!

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Hi Spoon,
Thanks again for making Asset available for the QNAP TS-269. For me, it has proven to be far superior to the software bundled with QNAP.
When I access Asset for Windows on my desktop using Kinsky, the container for Internet radio (TuneIn Radio) is populated and the radio stations are accesable. If I access Asset on the QNAP, the Internet Radio (TuneIn Radio) container is present, but is empty. Is this by design, or is it an issue needing resolution, or does it represent incorrect setting on my part?Leave a comment:

Great, just let me know, if there is something I can do to help troubleshoot.

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Not sure about the Sonos, it used to have very specific requirements (ie would only detect Windows Media Player as the upnp source), perhaps Sonos have included Asset also.Leave a comment:

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
I installed Asset UPnP server on my Qnap and now my Sonos shows it as a music source. Browsing and playing music works flawlessly.
I do like the feature and think it's a nice way to circumvent the Sonos 64k song limitation, but I don't understand why it is visible? None of the other UPnP servers have been visible there. Is it a mistake or does Asset do something differently?Leave a comment:

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Your problem is identical? in that clicking the Launch shows no page? and Asset does not show up in your control point?
Declaration or Baardog, are any of your familiar logging into your QNAP through SSH?Leave a comment:
