AAC Settings?

I just downloaded the aac codec,and would like to give it try. I'm looking for help with the settings. Are there any recommendations from anyone who has used aac? I don't mind experimenting abit, but am looking for a good starting point. Thankx

Don't mess with any settings other than bitrate (unless you know what you are doing), only specific people will need those other settings.
