Is there gonna be a .midi codec?

    Because that would be useful.

      yeah!!!

That's actually a good idea! I totally agree with you. I have a whole bunch of music I made in MIDI, and i've been wanting for a long time to put them on CD. Other software I tried to use didn't work for me. Cool Cool!

That'd be great.. as i'm just trying ot start a web page, i'd love to put one or 2 of my fave songs on as back ground music, and seein how dB is the best.. i dont want to use another converter... comeon! MAKE ONE!!

Ok..., just from an outsider's point of view, i would have thought you'd have either got to employ....

          a) a software syth to have PCM output that could easily be treated as a PCM for conversion purposes...

          or

          b) used an API capture/router, such as Total Recorder or Virtual Cables type driver or similar, so you could capture (at API level) the 'music' in as though it was going to the soundcard output.. but instead you send it to DMC.

Ok, i'm sure Spoon knows his stuff (DMC proves that), so this reply is purely an observation - i'm certainly not implying that i know enough to tell his SpoonNess how to solve it :oP

'Tom Kat' - the notorious one from the iRiver internation forum :oP
