    question about dMC newest beta

    - Mp3 is now Unicode8 compatible (Windows NT/2000/XP only)

Can't I choose the code which is used with? Newest beta seems to assume all mp3 tags to be written in Unicode8, even if they are written in local code page. I don't have a solution to convert them, so dMC shows tags as ugly crushed characters in popup info/property page.

It has to be referenced to the active Local Code Page on entry.

It just basically means if a Turkish guy created a file (using his turkish code page) and it is viewed on an American PC, the correct characters should be shown.

But it seems like that it doesn't work properly as what it is for.

If you could use this Monkey Codec here:

Tell me how the tagging works for that.
