Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
Sorry, it is flac, I could write it, but it is written there anyways...
The point is, that this error is related to "by windows natively not supported files", which mp3 is not, since dbpoweramp allows explorer to read unsupported file's tags, right? (That's the reason why I installed dbpoweramp.)
Is that working for anyone else and the error is in my computer or is this a bug?

These virus checkers are often as bad as viruses (in that they make your computer not work as expected)...Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
Thanks for the response.
Also, avast! Premier 8.0.1497 is seeing 32/64bit CDGrab.exe and MusicConverter.exe as a problem. Putting dBpoweramp(64bit) and Illustrate(32bit) folders on global exclusions list fixes it.Last edited by thexfile; September 07, 2013, 12:46 AM.Leave a comment:

Yes

No, it is the temp location used if DSP effected (non live) are used. Saying that even if a temp folder was used it can lead to fragmentation as 2 or more files are moved to the final disc at the same time.
The only way to stop fragmentation is to use the DSP effect CPU Force, set to 1 cpu, so only 1 conversion happens at once.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
I have a question about the new "combined 32 & 64 bit install."
Do we still need to move the 'reference.bin' and 'powerpack.bin' files for the 64 bit install?Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
There was a discussion a while back in regards to preventing the disc fragmentation that happens right now with R14 coreconverter.
I assume the tmpfolder option is the method to solve it by forcing a move after conversion as long as you use a different drive?Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
Thank you. Removing DSPs solved the issue.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
That is why, there are no DSP effects for R15 (64 bit) yet, so writing will fail.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
Just flac, 64 bit dbpoweramp. Must be a problem with flac configuration. There are some dsps (replay gain, hdcd and delete destination file on error). Parallel install of dbpoweramp 14 works smoothly.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
You rip to just flac? using 32 bit or 64 bit dbpoweramp software?Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
Seems flac does not work at all on my system. All files generated are smaller than 200k. Metadata when viewed in Windows Explorer looks ok, but the files are not usable. The ripping protocol gives no indication on what might be wrong. Let me know if I shall upload samples.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R15 BETA Discussions
Just tried ripping to flac with 64 bit version. Very fast, but no tags for duration and bitrate. Went back to version 14.Leave a comment:
