You remote desktop connect to the WHS machine, then download and run from the WHS machine directly.

Hello Spoon,

Just being a little slow here, I have downloaded the beta from your link above to my PC, but have no idea how to install it on WHS 2011 via remote desktop - with the registered version there was a wizard but with the beta it just wants to install to my PC. Any help appreciated!

DaFork - we tested specifically 'Band, the' for artist + album artist and upstream was ok (using embedded art).

Very happy to confirm that ALL upstream art is now displaying correctly.. thanks so much.

The XBox reads the whole collection including track numbers so should do its own sorting, rather than sorting on the title

Hello,

I confirm that Xbox reading is repaired, but the tracks of an album are read by title in alphabetical order, not by track number.

Maybe the option '[track *] - [title] for album tracks' is broken since I haven't any problem with version 3.

You would have to do a full rescan (refresh all).

Have done that, quite a lot of new upstream art does show indeed. Once category remains consistently not showing here, on multiple control points.

An example: when browsing the library I go to Artist/Album -> [B] ->

'The Band' (missing upstream art) -> Music from Big Pink, artist shows as 'Band, The' (art does show)

or

'The Beatles' (missing upstream art) -> Abbey Road, artist shows as ´Beatles, the´ )with art showing as well'

So artist names with ´the´ prefixes are represented differently on browsing tree levels, likely causing upstream art not to show.

I'm currently also testing R4.1 and I noticed that for e.g. with a triple CD until now the discs were shown in Kinsky as XXX, Disc 1, XXX, Disc 2 and XXX Disc 3.
With R4.1 the info "Disc 1" is missing; it shows XXX, XXX, Disc 2 and XXX, Disc 3.
I'd prefer the old version that for multi discs Disc 1 is actually shown as additional information as it was more clear that these files/albums are belonging together respectively that there's more than 1 disc.

Looking forward to testing. At a first glance I still miss upstream album art but will try to reset control point cache etc / library rescan shortly.

Tested and it did not have a bug (perhaps the XBox fix, fixed that also).
