    problems with mp4 codec

I tried the beta 3 mp4 codec with the ipod. It seems to gp fault frequently. The songs in which it doesn't GP fault sound great so I would love to find a fix.

It seems to fault about every 3 songs. Details:

    musicconverter.exe
    modname mp4.dll
    mod Ver. 4.1.2.1
    offset 00021515

I have been using the 96kbps rate.

      workaround?

Is there a workaround for this problem? I can't use the encoder in its current form and would like to.

Swtich off 'Preserve Tags' option and no tags will be written.

anyway to get the tags back?

Turning off the tags does seem to work (after reinstalling). The mp4 files are kind of useless with my IPOD without the tags. Is there any way of putting the tags back in? I haven't found many tag managers that can do this with mp4 files.

Tagging is very much in its infancy for mp4, 4 choices:

Switch off tagging, no tags on iPod,
Arrage your Audio files before converting to iPod / mp4 in a [Artist] - [Track] format, you will get Artist and Track from the filename in the iPod Tags (they are sperate),
Edit the tags of files that crash so that they go through,
Wait for new tagging routines to be developed (as soon as they are made to the community you shall have them).

Spoon, I don't have problem in English tags, but Korean tags break into crap characters. What's wrong? (using mp4 codec beta3)
