    Thanks Spoon,

Just to report this driver works perfectly on Kodak's heavy duty USB DVD/CD Writer/Dispenser unit manufactured by Acronova.

Re: Batch Ripper Nimbie Loader Driver

Hi - I'm using the Nimbie NB11 with your beta drivers, and it's working very nicely.

For the record, before I saw this post, I was trying the AutoGetTray utility from the same people that do the QQwhatever software that comes with the Nimbie.
http://www.broadexsystems.com/products/autogettray.htm It works by "watching" the tray and when it ejects, auto-loading the next CD. That is OK-ish but you can't use the reject chute, and of course you have to have a separate little application open all the time.

Sorry to say more about someone else's s/w than yours, but yours "just works" :-)

You are using the Batch Ripper program, instead of CD Ripper?

Where you configure the driver (in Batch Ripper - Configuration) run the test Load, test unload, it should load a disc with arm and unload.

When I do this, it doesn't really do anything. Goes to a new screen, then says "Testing Complete" or something like that.

But nothing within the Nimbie happens.

You have installed the Nimbie drivers also, so it appears as a drive + no unknown devices in device manager?)

Yes, I have checked all this and it is correct in device manager. I am also able to use the Nimbie correctly with other software.

Security software stopping Batch Ripper running Load.exe? which inturn call NimbieBackgroundRunner.exe

if you look in taskmanager NimbieBackgroundRunner.exe should be left running after calling load.

Ok, I'll check for this when I get home from work? If this is this case, what would the solution be?

I do also want to mention that compared to the other driver configurations where it says something like "12000 watchdog" or something of that effect, there is no text in the Nimble Load CIU etc. Does this mean anything?

Does not mean anything. If you have security software you can quickly test by disabling it.

OK thanks! I'll check soon as I can and post my findings.

                              I disabled my virus protection.

It didn't change the problem I am experiencing. I cannot get the Nimbie to interact with dbPoweramp

This the screen as I test it:
