Yes, great news on the new tags. Spoon, could you briefly outline the detection conditions that cause the HDCD tag to reflect detection? I summarized the different possibilities I'm aware of here http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthre...on-and-logging

I am not aware of the internals for Hdcd detection, we simply pass a section of the track to Hdcd.exe

          Re: dBpoweramp Music Converter R14.2

I am having issues with the installation names on some of the files, also, the version, or reference * of the particular update. I understand there are not so many of each, but to try and organize them without the depth of familiarity, that the developer, or a person following the project avidly for any length of time may have..gets confusing.

          1) dMC-R13
          2) dMC-R14.1-Ref-Registered.exe
          3) dMC-R14.2-Ref-Registered.exe
          4) dBpoweramp Music Converter Power Pack 14.exe

So the original versions of dMC-R?? are the actual program? with the miscellaneous utils/decoders/encoders/etc that can be downloaded as needed/used...?

ThedBpoweramp Music Converter Power Pack (*4) consists of of the encoding/decoding/utils/etc that will be used to convert the music?

This is where I am confused. The Music Converter Power Pack 14 is NOT the dMC program? It is a collection of encode/decode/utils? that are used by the dMC program?

I am getting an error when I try to convert a music file, "Error running Music Convertor". I have uninstalled both the Power Pack and the dMC-R14.2 program.

When installing the Power Pack I am finding that some of the tools installed by it are in need of updating. Fine. I have downloaded the necessary updates to each tool/util, however, I am confused as to why not have the Power Pack: A) Keep the contents of the Pack updated either automatically or with a manual option, or B) Release a new version of the Power Pack with the necessary updates. ??

I am running under the premise that the file dMC-R14.2 is the program configuration tool organizing the converter and utilizing the tools/utils installed by the Power Pack and separately installed encode/decode/util/etc.

Please clarify and/or give me a break down of program architecture.

          Thank you.

dMC-R14.2-Ref-Registered.exe is the one you want, also any additional codecs.
