AMG sould never be greyed out, even if there is no active metadata. Try checking it. Also does GD3 work?

GD3, Brainz, freedb all work. Just AMG keeps silent (and grey).
AMG only worked initially when I installed R13.5 as my first version of dbpoweramp.
After R14 beta it's gone.

Firewall protocol shows that after inserting a fresh CD cdgrab.exe contacts dmr.allmusic.com through ports 2198, 2207, 2213, 2218.

All ports open in firewall for cdgrab.exe.

A license problem for AMG access?

No license issue, if it were then it would not even connect to amg. If your firewall changes the http header in any way then AMG will not work (it is amgs own code which fails the validation).

Good hint. Firewall was set to monitor http activity (have not changed anything recently in the firewall settings - so must be a change in the process from R13.5 to R14?!?).

After disabling the http-traffic monitoring in firewall, AMG sends data again.

I've been anticipating the release of R14 but most importantly can't wait for the FLAC CUE Sheet image codec.

If I don't buy the Family Pack of R14, will I be able to re-install R14 with a single license when/if I reformat my PC and install Windows XP from stratch?

As I might have to but would like to install and play around with R14 before doing so.
