Odd thing is that other control points like Linn's Kinsky (on pc) and many control points on Android displays albums as thumbs even with JRiver an Squeezeserver. Is there any possibility to override and display everything as thumbs instead of lists?

This is because Kinksy shows everything in a list like that (if I remember correctly). Asset Control tries to be smarter.

If you ever get around fiddling with the Asset code (I know it's on the back burner) could you possibly add a settings option to force it to be dumber and show thumbs :komisch12 Just wishing :D

Does Asset Control recognize Disc number in multi disc albums?
I have many multi disc albums and I see all track 1s listed together instead of in disc order.
What do I need to do to get the disc/track order correct?

It is the upnp server which does this, not control point.

What are the correct options for Asset UPnP to make it sort tracks within multi-disc albums properly? I do have the Disc Number and Number of Discs metadata set correctly in all cases (i.e., Disc 2/4 shows up in the properties). I played with a couple of settings (one required the whole library to be rescanned) and I still haven't found the right incantation.

Multi Discs are going to split to appear as separate albums.

That's not what I'm seeing. For a 4 disc album, I see 4 track 1's followed by 4 track 2's, etc.

If you have dBpoweramp installed, right click on a track >> Edit ID Tag

it should show:

disc 1/4

etc, does it?

That's what I see. For instance:

Disc 2/4

In foobar2k track >> Properties I see:

Disc Number 2
Total Discs 4

Anything else I can try?

Hi Spoon, Control is running slow and not loading album art correctly. Have reinstalled control and also restarted asset server. Kinsky works fine.
the problem coincided with a win7 update but not sure if that is significant.
Any Ideas?

yes it should split multi discs.

It doesn't seem to be working. I did a complete rescan and restarted Asset UPnP. I am using the latest Asset UPnP (downloaded a week or two ago).

The version of Asset Control I have is dated 15-Sep-10 08:19 and has the file version number 1.0.0.1 (latest?).

Any thoughts on this Spoon? I think I have the latest versions of everything, I think the options are set right, I have done rescans and rebooted everything several times, and it's still not working. And it's not just Asset Control that still showing several track 1's together, etc. so I suspect that the option in Asset UPnP isn't working.
