defective by design, c2 interpolation and accuraterip

Curious, are c2 errors consistently interpolated - ie will the corrected music be seen as accurate in accuraterip?

The Defective by Design mode does not use AccurateRip, on purpose. With such cds getting an AccurateRip result is unlikely (each drive would read the disc in different ways).

Is there a way to identify these discs (ie - could switching to defective by design ripping be done automatically)?

No, each drive reads the cds (false TOC) differently.
