Hi,

I am using Encode Local with the m4a Nero and Ogg Vorbis encoders. When I am running multiple conversions in parallel (by running multiple instances of CoreConverter.exe), I get the following error from time to time :

Error overwriting file 'C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\3611890-dblocalencode.m4a

(I am using %tmp% as the temp folder)
Is there a way to avoid this kind of error (apart from running only one instance of the converter) ?

I have updated Encode-Local, the update will possibly solve this issue.

After I select encode local under "rip to", then if I select multi-encoder I notice that I can select the path and file naming conventions for each encoder I select, but I also see the path and naming variables below the "rip to" encode local profile selection - which is really used, or do I need to set up both to prevent a mess?

To put it another way, if I select the multi-encoder under "rip to", the path and naming sections immediately below this are greyed out, and it seems clear the path and naming for the specific encoders are used. Should the path and naming sections immediately below the "rip to" selection also be greyed out when encode local is selected and multi-encoder is then selected for local encoding?

It is not possible to combine multi-encoder and encode local.

Thanks for the clarification. It would be great if you would consider enabling this combination in a future product enhancement if it's not a big deal to do.

Finding the source was very tough to find because its in a help file stored on my local drive that did not have a shortcut to the Start Menu like other dBpoweramp help files. In my installation, all of the help files for utility codecs were missing shortcuts in the Start Menu.

If this is not uinique to me, then I recommend that upon install of a utlity codec that any installed help file have a link created in the Start Menu.
