The Move on Error DSP does not work with Encode Local either. I think that situations like this, where DSPs don't work with certain encoders, needs better warning in the UI or something. At the moment you can add ReplayGain with Encode Local, for instance, and you would never know that it isn't working unless you check the file.

How does encode local work with multi encoder? Which should be on the top level?
I'd like to code both Mp3 (with some DSP effect like running GenPUID to generate a MusicIP puid for each song) and also to FLAC in one go.
The GenPUID runs much smoother if the file is local.

I've just downloaded Encode Local as I was hoping it would simplify things for me; but I would need it to be compatible with Multi Encoder...do you think that is likely in the future?

When I rip, I create both an MP3 version which is stored locally and then a FLAC version which ultimately gets stored on my NAS. At the moment I have Multi Encode set to create the FLAC locally and then I manually copy it to the NAS (levaing the local file in place as a backup.

Is it possible to create an 'Action' that once the FLAC rip has completed makes a copy (ie not move) of the files to a second location?

It can be still relevant. It has reached a state where it is not longer developed, however it is not finally released as I was not happy it worked correctly for all people.

Just upgraded to R15 family license to install on new Windows 10 laptop. Have been using Encode Local for many years with previous version bc using laptop to rip to server. Have downloaded the codec and went through the install process, but it doesn't appear within the Encoder section in the program. Would love to hear advice on best set up to use. Wondering if I should have stuck with the earlier version. Thanks!

My guess is that the beta version of "Encode local" was just a 32bit code only, while you have installed the 64bit code of dBpa. In that case you have to uninstall the 64bit version of dBpa and reinstall the 32bit code of dBpa.

I'm wanting to remotely convert files stored on a NAS over the network, and I'm on OSX. Is Encode Local what I need? Is it available for OSX? Or would I need to use a PC?

dBpoweramp is what you need, encode local is not needed, you would browse to the files on the nas, then right click >> services >> Convert with dBpoweramp

Hi, I already have dBpoweramp; was just wondering if I need to do anything to optimise working with a NAS. I want to use dBpoweramp to make an MP3 copy of my entire FLAC library which is several 100GB.
