R13 file now fixed (a few hours ago dbpoweramp.com switched over to the new server, seems the /beta/ section did not make it).

Will gap detection (and extraction) make it into r13?

Did you catch the musicbrainz error in the post earlier?

Yes (MusicBrainz), not sure about gap detection, might be r14.

When is the Intelligent Lookup System going to be integrated into R13?

When I get around to porting it over, will take about a week, so priority is finishing CD Writer.

Q1: Will Tag Mapping be included in R13? I like it, but won't be using the batch ripper.

Q2: I purchased R12 reference, which included a 1 year subscription to AMG. I'd like to buy another year, but I don't want to use it for 2 months then have to repurchase it again when I upgrade to R13. I'd be paying for 24 months, but only get 14 months of use. Will this be the case?

Q3: Can the ReplayGain utility codec be installed by default? (I found this mentioned in the forum today, and it is an essential tool for refining the meta-data in my rips.)

I've been re-encoding lossless files to use the DSP effect version, but thats no good for MP3 files. I didn't understand why ReplayGain was listed under "Utility Codecs", because it's description there is terse, and I already had it from the DSP installation.

Alternatively, the DSP effect "ReplayGain", which says it won't add the tags unless encoding is taking place, could include a help hint pointing the person to the utility codec version.

Thanks again for the great product, and I'm looking forward to the release of R13.

Wait to buy another year of AMG until your current AMG subscription runs out.

Fantastic job on the new PerfectMeta feature! Ripped about 25 CDs last night and its seems to grab the correct set of tag data nearly every time.

                      Re: Discussion of dMC R13

Just started ripping my CD collection to flac this week and noticed a few bugs in the latest R13. Installed R13 over R12 reference on Windows XP Pro.

                      - very annoying bug in Options -> tag settings. When clicking on the scroll bar to scroll the list, it will check/uncheck whatever tag is to the left of where you grabbed the scroll bar.

                      - minor problem to me, but if you double click a track in the main screen CD ripper starts playing the track. But the audio is very garbled. Should not affect ripping but its a little disconcerting.

                      - When correcting items on the Perfect Meta Review page, they do not get transferred back to the poweramp main screen. Not sure if its suppose to do this but it seems like it should.

                      Hope this is helpful.

Don't know whether this should be here or in the appropriate wishlist thread, but: The different freedb choices should be moved to the Alt-M menu, I think. As of now, you might have to choose from multiple freedb matches first (possibly many times, for whatever reason ...) and then the PerfectMeta will choose, based on AMG--GD--MusicBrainz--freedb.

It just picks the first freedb choice automatically.

I think that is unfortunate as there is a lot of potential gain from looking at BOTH freedb choices!

where the album art normally is (bottom right) is now sqeezed off to the side and I cannot preview album art.

Are we able to preview art from multiple sources?
