With CD Ripper we re able to work around 'bad' drives which do not follow the SCSI spec. For the CD writer, the libaries are not ours so we cannot work around the detection issues.

I see. Oh well, I just tried it to see what it was like. Although, you could contact the library developer and consult them on the issue. :p
