That is fantastic news. Spoon, please, please, please be sure to include AMG's STYLE and MOOD metadata in addition to GENRE. If it cost's more, make it an opt-in, I and many others would gladly pay an incremental amount to access this metadata also.

The ability to clean up my old lossless rips by adding better meta data and album art would be lovely. If it requires a separate license or an increase in cost over the current AMG license, it is still worth it, imo, and I'll be first in line to pay.

Is there any intention of going ahead with this or has the idea been scrapped?

Over the last few months we had some contractual issues with a provider, so at this stage we are not wanting to 'rock the boat', having the premium metadata in CD Ripper and continuing to do so is the priority.

Spoon, I hope you can fix the contractual issues with AMG.
I want to add my voice to the ones hoping to see this come to light (especially if you give access to the engine via scripting!)
I'm also willing to pay extra for the extra access!

I haven't tried it, and don't know why gracenote allows it, but people may want to look at:

I don't think its going to happen with dbpoweramp.

This tuneupmedia looks like exactly what I need. Has anyone used it? Does it do what it says it does?

                        Thanks for your help.
