Metadata Suggestions

The addition of AMG Metadata tagging is wonderful.

1) Please consider adding a delimiter between multiple entries. I prefer a semi-colon. Perhaps you could allow the user to set the delimiter.

eg. Style is currently loaded as: Adult Alternative Pop/RockAmericanaSinger/Songwriter
Should be: Adult Alternative Pop/Rock;Americana;Singer/Songwriter

Composer is currently: Michael DempseyLaurence Tolhurst
Should be: Michael Dempsey; Laurence Tolhurst

2) Consider allowing the download of Mood (into TMOO), Theme, Type (Compilation, Single, Live), and any other permissible data. If we are paying for it...

3) Consider allowing the addition of the Biography or Album Review to the Comment field (If this is included under your contract with them)

I only wish I had all this cool functionality when I started ripping my collection last year!

Thanks for your time and this awesome product.

Re: Metadata Suggestions

Thanks for getting back. In hex, I'm showing them seperated by a newline (0D). In mp3tag they run together. What are you using to look at the tags?

Thanks,
David

No version of dMC supports writing ID3v2.4. Are you sure these files, or at least these tags, were written by dMC?

Re: Metadata Suggestions

apologies... ID3v2.3. mp3tag does 2.4 and I forgot that I had edited them further using mp3tag when I checked the version for spoon.
