In the 'Secure Settings' area, when I set 'Abort after unrecoverable frames' to 1, dBpowerAMP does stop after the first unrecoverable frame (as it should), but the rip status is marked as Secure. When I set this option to 2, everything works as expected. I can only assume that the error frame isn't properly logged before the rip aborts.
As for the feature requests, here's what I see as missing:
- No version number. Maybe put this in the Options screen?
- I like to name my album art 'cover.jpg' not 'folder.jpg' yet I can't change this.
- I'd like the ability to remove a CD after a failed rip for polishing, and re-insert it and start re-ripping the bad frames (without re-ripping all the data that has already been captured). Cache data could be purged on program exit/entry.
- I'd like the option not to bother compressing insecure rips
