I just installed the beta version of r12. On checking the configuration via start>all programs etc., I find a. No mention of "registered", although I installed it over r11.5 registererd, and b. Monkeys audio codec doesn't appear in the codec list, although it IS installed. (Everything is in the Illustrate folder, of course). Any comments, please?

Is this some limitation imposed by r12beta? I wouldn't have thought so. And what about the "registered" tag, which also doesn't show?

Did you install the Monkey's Audio codec on the dMC r12 download page? Because the one in Codec Central will not work.
Also, I don't believe Spoon has implemented the whole Registered/Not registered thing for dMC r12 yet but I'm not sure.Comment

Lt Data - just carried out those operations - everything now is OK. One of Spoon's notes about r12 states that registration is not yet implemented, so all's well. Thanks for your help - TonyComment
